Music lessons are being held every Tuesday and Saturday thanks to our music teachers Mro. C. Mizzi and Mro. J. Sultana.                                          Those who wish to learn a musical instrument, either e-mail us, or visit the St. Mary Band club on Tuesdays from 7:00pm till 8:30pm. Lessons are free of charge.

The band rehearsals, as from the 5th. of January,  are being held every Tuesday at 7:00pm at the  St. Mary Band Club's main concert hall.

10 Years Ta' L-Istilla Youth Section: As part of the celebrations of the 10th. Anniversary of the “Ta’ L-Istilla” youth section, within our Society, the members donated a ‘Mosta flag’, which measures 26 x 40 feet, for the club’s main flagpole. Mario and Steven, which are two local bandsmen with our same Society, were commissioned by this section to be responsible for both the design and the making of the flag.

This flag was another great success as it was the Major Flag done by Jeffrey Galea, another active member within our Society, in 2005 for the great celebrations done for the 100 anniversary of our Society. Click to view the works photos.

At 8:00a.m. 12:00pm, and in the evening display of spectacular fireworks from nearby fields in Mosta. At 8:30pm, the St. Mary Band will perform its annual grand concert in Rotunda Square Mosta. Music will be synchronized with fireworks manufactured by the St. Mary Fireworks Factory of the same Society.

At 9:30 a spectacular aerial firework show will start. It consists of various sets of aerial fireworks, including: ball shells, multi break cracker shells, and coloured shells, The show will end up with a spectacular  firework display accompanied by music and with the traditional "Kaxxa Infernali"

Then at 11:30pm a great show of mechanical ground fireworks will start at Rotunda Square Mosta. All fireworks  are manufactured by the St. Mary Fireworks Factory of the same Philarmonic Society. promo:
